Random Impulse

She could only shake her head. The man, the inhuman monster, would haunt her dreams for the rest of her life. Oh, the nightmares which were sure to come. Glancing down at the monstrosity that was once her collar bone, she began shaking uncontrollably. Her shoulder looked like ground beef with bits of bones riddled throughout, the severity of the wound was hidden by the blood pooling in it… at least until she saw the two ends of her collar bone that were evidence of Vincent biting clear through her bone. Hyperventilating, she knew the grievous wound would heal long before the internal scares.  In seconds that man tore her off her cold pedestal and left her as a terrified little girl bleeding all over the floor in the fetal position.
Darkness again began creeping into the corners of her vision, even with MaCreedy’s hand still gripping hers tightly. “Strawberry frosted donut.” It was all she could manage to stutter before succumbing to unconsciousness, feeling cold, alone and understanding, for the first time in her life, what a victim felt like as Darkness laid her macabre hand over quarry.
